Group Donations

Guidelines

Large groups fill volunteer positions quickly and contribute to setup and teardown during the event. Volunteers make our work possible, and participating groups ease the process. We allocate $250 to $1,500 per event to participating groups. Below are the guidelines for groups wishing to receive donations.

Eligibility - All groups/clubs/teams must follow these steps:

  • Step #1 - Group members must register online. Click the button above or "VOLUNTEER" in the menu to sign up.

  • Step #2 - Notify each group member to specify their group during sign-up to be included in the total. There is a registration section for this information.

  • Step #3 - Group members wanting credit for their shift must be on time, complete the entire shift, and check in and out with the volunteer coordinator or assigned area director. Instructions are sent the week of the event.

Donation Rules - Below is our system for distributing donations to event volunteer groups.

  • Once when a team or organization completes 6 volunteer shifts, they earn $15 per shift. For instance, if 12 volunteers finish 12 shifts, their group receives $180.

  • Checks checks will be mailed after volunteer hours are verified. Allow 4-6 weeks for delivery. Non-compliance with the rules above will exclude individuals from the group's total.
